Hi, I am Olivia
I work as a project manager, a parent, and an expat based in London, United Kingdom.
Several years ago I moved here with my family, and what began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't part of the long-range plan. As with many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The first few months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of hands-on learning. Yet over time routines began to take shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and started creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built SourceNotionCircle
Most resources online were either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice drawn from real-life experiences in United Kingdom.
